Over the last 15 years I’ve covered a number of web roles, from design, development to content creation and site management. I’d like to say I know what makes a site tick and over the years have improved to web presence of several sites. The basis to that knowledge is of course understanding the user and to do that you need to get a grip of the analytics.
I suppose the difference in my blog is that most of my working career has been in the non e-commerce sectors; Emergency services, Local Authorities, Higher Education and Health Sector. This means a lot of Google Analytics tools go out the window.
